I am an adrenaline junkie that enjoys the everyday ritual of experiencing lactic acid fermentation from not absorbing enough oxygen during the fast, never ending cycle of glycolosis. During the fermentation of my skeletal muscle cells, my liver assists me in removing the excess lactic acid and either storing and converting it to glycogen, or shuttling it back to my skeletal muscles as new glucose. This is the Cori cycle and, quite frankly, I am thankful for it.
